Community Music programme for kids. Currently, I have a Masters in Jazz and am pursuing a Doctorate in
Jazz Performance from the University of Toronto with a focus on Counterpoint in Jazz Composition.

Bachelor of Music from McGill University and a Master of Arts (Ethnomusicology) from York University. I am a
member of the Ontario College of Teachers and have been teaching music in the public high school
system for the past 16 years. As a long-time member of the Royal Conservatory College of Examiners I
have examined piano students all across Canada and in the United States. I also hold Elementary,
Intermediate and Advanced Specialist qualifications through the Royal Conservatory’s Teacher Certificate
Program. I am comfortable preparing students for RCM exams or for general enjoyment..

Bridget LaMarche has been teaching piano, violin and viola for over 30 years teaching students of all ages!!
Her studio is in the Danforth Village where she teaches from the comfort of her own home.
Bridget LaMarche is one of the top freelance artists in Toronto. She also toured extensively and played in
many of the major halls in North America including Carnegie Hall. She also plays for the Toronto shows.
Her last engagement was Cinderella. She holds a Bach. of music from the University of Toronto and has
submited many successful students for the Royal Conservatory exams program. Bridget's love of music
creates a beautiful environment for her students to thrive and grow and have fun with music.
